Healthy habits for a growing body.
A positive approach to movement, participation and weight goals that fit your child’s stage of development.
Start with health, comfort and participation
Our Healthy Weight Management program gives children a supportive setting to become more active, practice movement skills and build a routine they can enjoy. It can form part of a wider plan agreed with the family and, where needed, a healthcare professional.
We work with the child in front of us. We do not label children by their body size or use public weigh-ins and comparisons as motivation. The conversation focuses on practical goals and the child’s experience.
Personalized from the first conversation
We discuss your priorities, observe how your child moves and choose activities that match their experience and confidence. Sessions are available as one-on-one coaching or small groups of up to three children, subject to the location’s arrangements.
As your child practices, a coach offers clear cues, checks technique and adapts the challenge. Progress reviews help the family understand what is changing and what to work on next.
What we work on
- Finding activities the child is willing and able to take part in.
- Practicing movement technique and gradually adjusting the challenge.
- Building a repeatable exercise routine with family support.
- Reviewing participation, comfort, movement skills and relevant physical measurements.
A child’s weight goal needs context
Children grow at different rates. A healthcare professional can help decide whether the right goal is weight maintenance, a slower rate of gain or another approach. We do not prescribe restrictive diets or promise rapid weight loss.
For concerns about low weight, poor growth or difficulty eating, seek qualified healthcare or dietetic advice. Exercise coaching should be coordinated with appropriate care.

Questions parents ask
Is the program only for children who need to lose weight?
No. The focus is a healthier relationship with movement and goals appropriate to the individual child. Concerns about weight gain or loss need proper assessment.
Will you give my child a diet?
Our website and coaching do not replace an individual nutrition assessment. A qualified healthcare professional or dietitian should guide therapeutic diets and clinical weight management.
What does success look like?
Examples include more consistent participation, improved movement skills and a routine that works for the family. The appropriate weight-related goal depends on the child.
